About

Addy Zhu is a global HR and leadership advisor to CEOs, CHROs and executive teams. Her career spans Fortune 500 companies and global technology platforms: she served as APAC HR General Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Global VP of HR at Honeywell Building Technologies, and held HR leadership roles at Intel, Coca-Cola and Nestlé.

She works on the human and organizational questions that decide whether a strategy holds: global business transformation, post-merger integration, executive team effectiveness, succession, and the operating-model shifts required in the AI era. She has supported workforces of more than 10,000 people across 50+ countries, and understands the tension between global headquarters, regional markets and local teams.

Her advisory approach is deliberately narrow and practical. Rather than applying a generic framework, she works with decision-makers to identify the real organizational constraint, agree on the few leadership moves that matter, and translate them into the rhythm of the business. She believes a transformation succeeds less because of the elegance of the plan than because the top team can agree on a small number of critical trade-offs. She is best suited to leaders navigating cross-border expansion, organization redesign, executive transition or a significant career move.

She is a Senior Advisor at the Career Development Center of Fudan University School of Management and a special advisor to the think tank committee of Semco China Institute. She has spoken, moderated or joined panels at forums including WAIC, HRFlag and government talent organizations, and teaches leadership and MBA courses at Fudan, ECNU, IBSS and Warwick. She is an Amazon-certified innovation and leadership instructor, holds an MBA from Fudan University and Handelsheyskolen BI, and dual bachelor's degrees in Human Resource Management and English for Economics.

What a first conversation looks like

  1. You describe the decision, the constraints, and what you have already tried.
  2. The expert pressure-tests your assumptions and names the real trade-offs.
  3. You leave with a point of view, a short action list, and a clear next step.
